Dear Friends and Sponsors,
It is with deep gratitude and unwavering commitment that I address you from the desk of the Bello Hassan Bazza Foundation (BHB Foundation). As the founder, I am both humbled and honored to share the progress and vision of our mission to transform lives across Nigeria.
When I established BHB Foundation, my goal was simple yet profound: to create a beacon of hope for those in need of humanitarian assistance, medical care, and community support. Our journey began with a shared vision of a Nigeria where every person, regardless of their circumstances, could access quality healthcare, experience compassion in times of need, and participate in the growth and development of their communities.
Over the years, we have witnessed the impact of our collective efforts. From providing essential medical services to remote and underserved areas, to offering humanitarian relief in times of crisis, our initiatives have touched countless lives. Our community development projects are not just about addressing immediate needs, but about fostering sustainable growth and empowering individuals to build better futures.
Yet, our work is far from complete. The challenges we face are significant, but our resolve is stronger. We are continuously expanding our programs, forging new partnerships, and seeking innovative solutions to meet the evolving needs of our communities. Every achievement, every milestone, is a testament to the dedication of our team, the generosity of our donors, and the resilience of the people we serve.
I invite you to join us on this journey of transformation. Whether through your time, resources, or simply by spreading the word, your support is invaluable. Together, we can continue to make a difference and bring about meaningful change.
Thank you for your unwavering support and belief in our mission.
Together, we are building a brighter future for Nigeria, one life at a time.
With heartfelt appreciation,
Bello Hassan Bazza
Founder, Bello Hassan Bazza Foundation (BHB Foundation)
Bello Hassan Bazza Foundation (BHBF) is an indigenous non-governmental organisation incorporated at the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) in accordance with the provisions of the Companies & Allied Matters Act (CAMA 1990) with RC number 7645256 on the 3rd day of July, 2024 with its operational head office domiciled at No.4, Gidado Road, Sokoto, Sokoto State, Nigeria.
The Foundation provides ample humanitarian support services and opportunities for the people especially at the grassroots where the impact of governance is usually poorly felt.
Good welfare is what the people really need to be happy in the face of life’s challenges. This is delivered through the engagement of highly professional and technical skills-set, high performing and competent team that will optimize immediate support-wide performance wherever it is needful. Health services for the rural areas and slum people of least developed or developing countries are quite unreachable, unavailable and unaffordable to them. The Bello Hassan Bazza Foundation was incorporated among other essentials to provide medical healthcare services to help bridge the gap in collaboration with our partners and some non-state actors in order to save and sustain lives.

Education is key to development and it is the future. We understand
the danger of losing it at the grassroots owing to poor or even
non-accessibility of quality education. So many Nigerians are desperately
gasping for assistance and support for education.
The United Nations
Children’s Fund (UNICEF) has decried the increasing number of out-of-school
children in Nigeria as it stands at 18.3 million in 2024.
This rather very alarming figure ranks Nigeria as the country
with the highest number of out-of-school children globally.
BHB Foundation in a bid to alleviate in its own little way the
upsurging demography in education down clime, has engaged an
intervention supporting package from time to time for pupils to
leverage on within its reach. (*see how to support and apply
through the contacts information).
The Nigerian human development index on health have been rated low due
to unnecessary morbidities and mortalities. Even though multiple actors
are engaged in health delivery, emphasis on the government as primary
health providers overshadowed or dwarfed the immense potentials of the
Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) in health delivery.
We offer free medical clinics, circumcision, mental health support,
and health education workshops.
The Foundation integrates strategy and policy expertise with deep industry partnerships across the healthcare ecosystem, helping delivery of impacting healthcare services to communities. Our team of seasoned public health, commercial health, life sciences, and state health professionals bring proven ability to navigate increasingly complex public health regulatory environments.
The BHB Foundation supports local projects aimed at improving
infrastructure, creating job opportunities, and fostering community
engagement such as provision of boreholes, construction and rehabilitation
of mosques, schools, orphanages, etc.
Our extensive community development programs are designed to support the
community and assist our supported individuals in becoming more resourceful,
integrated, independent, and engaged in the community through meaningful and
purposeful activities. Through the programs, the Foundation is able to support
the individual’s growth and development through participation in local community
events, volunteer opportunities, and virtually unlimited number of community-
based activities.
Sometimes, the program is designed to help people with intellectual and developmental
disabilities familiarize themselves with and accomplish tasks, allowing them to become
more independent and successful.
Some of the add-on skills and activities are:
• Life Skills Development
• Community Safety
• Self-Advocacy
• Travel Training
• Positive Recreation and Leisure Choices
• Technology
• Money Management
• Relationship Building
• Fitness/Wellness
• Creative Arts
• Mindfulness
• Social Interaction/Soft Skills
• Communication
• Volunteering
• And more
The program is geared towards furthering our obligation of empowering
youth to live a value-added life by organizing vocational and technical
training such as tailoring and fashion design, cake baking, make-up
artistry, cocktail and small chops, events decoration and management,
bead making, hair dressing, graphics design, web design, catfish farming,
and so on.
Statistics shows in 2023 how unemployment rate jumped to 5% in the third quarter,
representing a third consecutive increase since the first quarter. On the other hand,
underemployment rate rose from 11.8 per cent in 2023 to 12.3 per cent in 2023
(third quarter).
The BHB Foundation skills acquisition and empowerment program gives youth ample
opportunity to change the narrative of unemployment and become proud self-employed
youths. Our flexible program is among responses to the need for low unemployment
rate in Nigeria particularly in sharp youth.
We have built strong goodwill with our collaborating partners and donors as we work
assiduously towards combating poverty and the menace of unemployment. We shall
continue to empower our youths for a better future.
As armed conflicts, mass displacement, and disasters take an ever-heavier
toll, humanitarian intervention remains a cornerstone to the survival of
the helpless communities. We are most passionate about saving lives!
We have vast expertise in the most challenging environments. This experience
telecommunication often and capacity in supply chain engineering and emergency
mediums us the ability to extend our efforts to support emergency preparedness
and afford long-term development capacity, also depending on local context. In
the face of tight funding high expectations, efficiency on the humanitarian
community is increasingly required to act in sync, streamline processes and
pool resources.
Working closely with our fellow humanitarian partners allows them to make assets
functionalities available to private sector partners, BHP Foundation is aiming
to save more lives, faster and at lower costs donors and the environment.
BHB Foundation responds to natural disasters with immediate aid and long-term recovery support such as provision of essentials to flood/disaster victims, internally displaced persons (IDPs).

Human Capital Development (HCD) is the framework for helping individuals
and employees develop their personal and organizational skills, knowledge,
and abilities. It plays an important part of developing and making your
organization at the beginning or making a success at the end, due to the
labour provided by employees.
Our Human Resource infrastructure and skill is second to none as it fosters
an environment of integrity and collaboration through innovative solutions
and communications contributing to the successful recruitment, development,

Our legal team educates and assists victims in navigating the
justice system by evaluating advantages and disadvantages of
participating in the legal processes. Our Legal team by extension
facilitates victims’ access and participation in the legal system
through provision of informational and emotional support. Survivors
of domestic violence and sexual assault, persons with disabilities,
and others need legal justice as they engage with the criminal or
civil legal system. These services extend to matters involving
criminal charges against the batterer, matters involving criminal
charges against the survivor, obtaining and enforcing personal
protection orders, pursuing divorce and child custody issues,
and other matters.
Our legal team, however, are available to survivors to discuss
their legal rights, the legal process, possible outcomes and to
provide information that will help survivors make informed decisions
about whether and how to engage in the judicial process.
Services provided by our advocates include but is not limited to:
Acting as a liaison, as an “interpreter” of legal jargon and proceedings,
and a personal advocate for survivors in court proceedings. This means
explaining to the survivor what is necessary to survive unfamiliar legal
terms mean, letting the survivor know what they can expect to happen next
in the legal process, and advocating for certain actions or responses with
prosecutors, police, attorneys, probation officers as requested by the
survivors.
• Accompanying the survivor to court proceedings as may be determined.
• Providing assistance in filing for crime victims’ compensation and
preparing victim impact statements for sentencing hearings.
• Providing assistance in filing for Personal Protection Orders.
• Providing technical assistance to police, prosecutors, judges,
probation officers, and/or attorneys (consistent with our confidentiality
policy) regarding dynamics of domestic violence and sexual assault,
safety planning, etc.
It is our priority to support you in whatever decisions you make
about engaging with the legal system and to assist you in identifying
your rights and options as a survivor.
Sports development is a strategy for unity, a unifying factor that
disregards race, religion and tribe beyond feigned sentiments. We
have leveraged on these benefits to put smiles on the faces of our
youths by supporting Sports development especially at the grassroots
by organising healthy competitions.
Our aim is to provide a wide range of supports that enable the delivery
and coordination of high quality educational, sporting, recreational
and developmental programmes, projects and services to disadvantaged young people.
This is done in partnership with local communities, voluntary groups and voluntary
youth organisations.
Our concern is focused on youth development programs, and grassroots athlete development,
enhancing young talents discovery across broad spectrum of sports activities and building
skills, nurturing young athletes with age-appropriate training and optimizing elite
performance with advanced methodologies.
It takes dedicated, capable, and extensively experienced team to
ensure BHB Foundation stays successful in the multi services
